New Year Appreciation to Our Valued Clients
The year 1444 (2002-2003) has remained a gloomy year for business recovery, nevertheless, we have kept a strong focus on health and safety, even as our operating environment remained unrealistic especially with the unfolding events of trying to unify the exchange rate system in order to stabilize the economy, lead to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) devalued the Naira at the Importers and Exporters (I&E) window to N631 to a dollar from N461.6; similarly, the parallel market rate declined from N750 to a dollar to N745 in the month of May June. This stirred up various reactions from the public and most importantly to the travel / airline market in general.
A key consequence of these unified exchange rate system results to when international travellers were advised by the National Association of Nigeria Travel Agency (NANTA) to expect possible hikes in travel ticket prices especially on international flights; however, passengers were instructed to conclude their travel plans in good time to reduce the burden of unexpected increases of budgeted plans for travel. To our most valued customers who have faced intense pressures as a result built back on business to the glory of Allah.
